We make The Past enjoyable
All Our Yesterdays was founded in 2014 to provide educational workshop visits to schools covering a number of historic & other topics. Our visits aim to promote the development of historical skills through active learning, while our extensive resources enable us to provide varied, stimulating sessions through role-play, artefacts, hands on activities & fascinating facts that will fire your children’s imaginations.
Our workshops are designed for busy teachers with busy lives who need practical classroom activities. Historical Characters and Theme Days add sparkle to your history curriculum and the replica artefacts and costumes can be used for displays and interactive learning to help enliven your teaching. Our aim is to make the learning experience easier for teachers and pupils alike!
I offer fourteen different individual session on the following themes:
Saxon Celts and/ or Romans
Vikings Stuarts (including The English Civil War)
Tudor Mayan Civilisation
Victorians Second World War
First World War History Mystery
Pirates A history of the seaside Holidays
Mini Beasts Toys throughout the ages
The sessions vary in length from one to two hours, are tailored to the National Curriculum and can be adapted to your individual needs/requirements. They are designed to bring the past to life, are interactive and aim to encourage pupils to explore the given topics in detail. They entertain whist being informative. I present most of the sessions in period costume and the students have the opportunity to safety handle original, or replica, artefacts. They can be used as enrichment days, or just for fun, and are a lot cheaper than a field trip.
I am fully DBS/CRB checked and have public liability insurance
